Do you think all interruptions suck?

Think again.

Yes, being interrupted while you’re speaking often results from power struggles or disrespect.

However, not all interruptions are ill-intended.

Sometimes, people are excited about your idea and want to build on it – or ask questions to show that they’re paying attention.

Other times maybe you’re losing your train of thought.

And people interrupt to let you know they can’t follow your presentation.

Rethink how you deal with interruptions – from recovering control when you’re interrupted to being respectful when you need to interrupt a colleague.
