New goals won’t help if you keep doing things the old way. You need better systems, not just good intentions.
This week, I’m challenging you to stop one habit that’s holding you or your team back. These habits seem harmless, but are not helping you.
You don’t need to fix everything at once. Pick one habit. Stop doing it. See what happens.

Your team wants better results. So you keep adding more—more initiatives, more priorities, more metrics. But instead of moving forward, you’re stuck. Here’s what to do: Make a list of everything your team is working on. Include projects, recurring meetings, reports nobody reads, and “important” initiatives no one questions.
Then ask: “What can we stop doing entirely?”
Don’t delegate this to someone else. Don’t postpone it. Just delete it. Watch what happens over the next two weeks. What do people do with the extra time? What gets better? Does anything actually break?
