Keep Going—Your Shot of Fearless Culture #400
Where change agents find their weekly dose of culture insights and exercises, one topic at a time.
I can’t believe I made it to issue #400 of this weekly newsletter.
Seven years ago, I had one subscriber: my wife. She probably doesn’t even read it now.
43,000 subscribers later, many things have changed: the name, the layout, even the tone.
But one thing hasn’t: I still write for an audience of one.
I write for those who show up, care, and want to grow.
I write for you.
To challenge your thinking. To share actionable insights, practical tools, and simple steps to help you get started.
This journey reminds me of the path of change agents. We often forget that every beginning is an uphill climb—messy, uncertain, and full of challenges.
Things often get worse before they get better.
Being a change agent isn’t about comfort; it’s about resilience. Celebrating issue #400 is easy. Getting started is the hardest part. Here’s to new beginnings.
Thank you for being part of my journey.

Workplace culture in the U.S. is shifting—and not for the better. Political backlash has leaders staying silent, trust is fading, and AI is changing work faster than most cultures can catch up.
Join me for a free live session on what our US Culture Pulse 2025 reveals about these trends. We’ll discuss implications for your organization and take questions.

Ask Your Team This
What keeps you going when change feels uphill?
⚠️ Try This
Fall in love with the problem
Pick one initiative and write a “love letter” to the problem with your team:
What makes this problem worth solving? Why should anyone care?
Who does this problem hurt? Make it personal and specific.
What happens if we ignore it? Paint the picture one year from now.
Why us? What makes this problem ours to solve?
What becomes possible if we solve it? Connect it to something people actually want.
When your team describes the problem vividly enough that everyone wants to jump in and help—you’ve found it. Once people fall in love with the problem, solutions follow.
